Bellbird House
A Heritage Restoration

OUR STORY
Mark and Nicky were looking for a new chapter after raising two (now adult) sons in the busy heart of Sydney. We dreamed of a life which was closer to nature, kinder to the earth and was part of a like-minded community where we could spend
"interesting times with interesting people"
Our dream became reality when we moved to Narara Ecovillage in late 2019. There we have lovingly restored a beautiful heritage-listed home -Bellbird House- which was built in 1915 and nestles next to the Strickland State Forest surrounded by interesting villagers who are building sustainable homes in a diverse, environmentally-conscious and inspiring Ecovillage community.
Visitors are welcome to the Ecovillage to find out about how to join our dynamic community, or to explore the many wonders and attractions of the Central Coast less than 1 hour North of Sydney.

YOUR ROOM
Your spacious room is totally private with your own private entrance, ensuite bathroom, tea/coffee-making, wifi, TV and twin or king-size bed in a uniquely tasteful heritage setting. Sun-dappled deck and garden nook are yours to enjoy the tranquility over a sun-downer as you plan your time in the Ecovillage, walks in the Strickland Forest across the road or explore the Central Coast
GALLERY
Located in our heritage-listed house dating from 1915 your spacious en-suite room has been lovingly restored to retain its charming heritage character but with all the modern comforts you would expect.
Fittings and fixtures and all furniture and personal touches in the home were carefully sourced second-hand to reduce waste and recycle/upcycle wherever possible in keeping with the Ecovillage philosophy.
We hope it feels like your country nest away from home, a base to explore the Ecovillage or the many wonders of the beautiful Central Coast.
The guest room is spacious but cosy, completely private with your own entrance, seating on the verandah and secluded garden nook to enjoy the afternoon sunshine. Tea and coffee making facilities in your room. Beautiful en-suite bathroom completes your facilities.
Let us know if you prefer a luxurious super king-size bed or twin king-single beds.
Whilst we no longer operate as a regular B&B, we are open to private guests on request.
